I live in a NYC studio & work out of town during the week & plan to sublet Mon-Fri. How do you receive payments? PayPal? Checks? What references do I ask for? Should I ask for a deposit? How do I get person in w/o doormen telling the Board about sublet?

Ok, i know that fish isn't the best food out there that people like, but it is extremely high in protein which is good for the muscles. Fish is very healthy. Salads are also good. I actually eat my salads without dressing (even though it tastes horrible). Also other types of vegetables. If you don't like a vegetable, you can eat it with something else to make it taste better. A good drink is water and the V8 juice. It tastes just like regular juice.

I need some tips and pointers on using my new baitcaster reel?

I have tolerated my soon to be mother in law for years. I've been with my fiance for 4 years, and known him and his family for 8 years. We have a small daughter together, in the past the woman has made no effort to hide her dislike for us dating even if she was good friends with my parents. We told her not to put her child in charge, she was too drugged to care. She "hides" her use of drugs from her parents, my second realization was when her step mother saw her asleep again on our family trip last week and said she takes too many pills, keep in mind her parents rarely visit her and live in texas, she in missouri. She asked the next day to take our child for a week after the anual lake trip. we live 9 hours from them. My dad died of a drug overdose, so it is an issue close to my heart. How do I loose my love handles and flatten my stomach?

I'm 15 years old and come from england, and I dislike my body. I am not obese but I'm not skinny. The main parts I want to get rid of is my love handles, stomach fat, and the top of my thighs. I don't know how much I weigh but I think its about a 11 something stone, and I would really like to get down to 8 stone at the least. Neon tetra gasping at surface?

How to get this weird gross greasy look out of my hair!?

OK I don't know what it actually is, but I have this gross greasy look in the mid section of hair in the back. The only products I use are shampoo, conditioner, hair syrum, heat protectant (spray), and a little but of hair spray. I use a flat iron daily, and lately I've been air drying it instead of blow drying. I asked my friend's mom who is a hair dressor what to do, and she told me to just shampoo it (no conditioner) and it should come out, but it hasn't. What should I do? My 16 month old daughter goes to bed at 7 every night and has done since birth. I've never changed her bedtime routine,but she's suddenly decided to change it for me! She used to sleep 7 while 7/7.30 but for the past month,every single night she wakes up twice crying! If i ignore her she crys for about 45 mins then goes back to sleep,but if i go into her (i don't pick her up) she'll stop crying when she see's me but then as soon as i've popped her dummy back in and walk out she gets very destraught to the point of the rare occasion making herself vomit. OK so i have about 24 units left to finish the community college and then transfer to a university. But also Ive been thinking to go to a a private college to get a certification in which is the National Strength and Conditioning ociation and other certification which i think is the pt or something. the cost is 14000 for 11 months. Now previously before i was considering another college called brian college in which offer a certification called which is National Academy of Sports Medicine) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) such as the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credentials to name a few. And i think they offer a ociates degree in exercise science, but this is just in brian college not cni. The cost cost in brian college is 22000 dollars but because i qualified for some grants i may have to pay back only about 15000 dollars in loans. with cni college it is 14000 dollars but because of the grants i get to pay back about 8000 dollars back in loans. Now my question is should i finish the community college then probably do this? Or go to this school for one year, get certified, than go back to the community college. But what if the job market sucks in personal training? Also are these private or so called vocational schools good? The reason why i am considering this field is because i have a have a strong Pion for the health and fitness. which is something i have dedicated myself allot for the last 4 years. It really has changed my life and made me a better person in general. But i also like literature, acting , history, and other things as well. Also is it worth going to college just to be a personal trainer? I mean they told me that i could work with people in rehab, eldelry, people with obesity problems, or diabetics. There has been a constant battle going on involving men and my best friend. I met her about 4 years ago and I've been in love ever since. We have talked literally every single day for the past 4 years, even while she was studying abroad in Australia. While she was abroad last semester she kept saying that when she returned she wanted to by my girlfriend and i really want to be her boyfriend. Unfortunately upon returning she started dating some other guy. When i got upset about it she said that her relationship with him was nothing serious, and when she dated me she wanted it to be serious, and she was worried if we dated now we would screw it up too early. All she asked is that I remain patient, so I did. over the past few months they have been fighting and every time they fight she breaks up with him and comes running to me. Then they make up and I'm left in the dust, when i give her a hard time about it she gets mad at me for trying to interfere. In a more recent fight of there's he threatened her life, and got very abusive. Not physically but verbally insulted her, ripped apart her bed room and yelled and made a lot of threats. This happened the day before thanksgiving break. Throughout break we were together every day and she insisted that she wanted to be done with him, and upon returning to school it would be over. When she returned to school however she ended up getting back together with him. And this time she wasn't allowed to talk to me anymore. He doesn't like me because were so close, and that I'm always trying to convince her to dump him, plus he found out we had a few times. So she stopped talking to me for 2 weeks. I was ready to be over her when she came crying back to me apologizing saying she wants nothing more to do with him, she said hes too controlling and everyone hates her for talking to him still. Even her parents wouldn't talk to her because of it. I told her that if i forgave her and pretended she hadn't previously hurt me, then she has to promise she would be finished with this guy entirely, no more communication of any kind and she agreed. She told him for a few days to leaver her alone and they they shouldn't be seeing each other anymore. Then a few days later i found out they were hanging out again. When i confronted her about it she said that he makes her happy and she wants to continue to hangout with him for the rest of this week. Were leaving on Friday for winter break and she says she is cutter herself loose of him over break and letting it end then, however she wants the next few days to continue to see him. I flipped and told her not to talk to me anymore. She thinks I'm being irrational and i don't have a right to be mad, however I think my argument is justified. The way I see it is no matter how many people want her apart from him, one month wont make any difference if she doesnt want to be apart from him. I don't know if i should continue to hang out with her when we go home for winter break. I know she wont see him for the next month cause he lives far away from us and her parents wont allow her to see him, but i cant help but feel like im going to end up getting hurt again. I cant allow myself to become vulnerable to her with the risk of her screwing me over when we return to school next semester. Am i acting irrationally? should i give her a chance over winter break, or just cut her lose now? I feel like i should but i cant see her ever being serious about me so long as she likes this other guy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please help!!!!

You shouldn't listen to people who put you down, their the ones who aren't worth it, not you. The only person stopping yourself is you. If you have the determination to do it and you want it enough then you should. I haven't been to university but my sister is, and although she will have debt she has so much more to gain from it. When's she's finished she will have a real acheivement career wise, not to mention the self esteem boost at achieving a feat so great. She's made a good bunch of friends, met her boyfriend and gotten on really well. I think it is completly worth it. You've had a lot of bad luck but i do also believe that you make your own luck, to do that you have to create opportunity. How is unemployment calculated when your hours are cut?

since february our office is 32 hours from 40 hours. Every now and then we may get 40 hours. Due to the economy the hours may get cut to 24 hours how will this effect unemployment if you are actually laid off. are you paid by the 24 hour or 40 hour rate. Seems to me a bit fishy that the hours are cut so less money is given once they lay you off. The reason i am really concerned is becuase i applied for a part time job that is only going to be for about $8.00 hour for maybe 20 hours. Should I leave the Air Force DEP Program?

Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 1332.14, Enlisted Administrative Separations, and individual service recruiting regulations allow anyone in the DEP to request a separation from the Delayed Enlistment Program. With that being said I recently processed through a MEPS facility, signed my contract and such, having doubts the whole time I was at MEPS. Now I am currently in the DEP program for the air force and just want some outside input on this matter. I will feel like a jerk for wasting the recruiters time but in the end it will be better for me and the air force if an unmotivated person as myself did not ship to basic training. The part of the yard we keep our dog in is fenced in. The problem is that there is a gate where the driveway is to close off that part of the fence. So anytime we come/go in the car we have to get out, get the dogs back, open the gate, pull through, close the gate and get back in the car. Total pain in the . i have dyslexia. i HATE it! All my teachers know and few of my close friends know. We switched our kids to toddler beds when they began to try to climb out of their cribs. This keeps them from falling and getting hurt. Plus, once they can climb out of the crib it's the same as being in a regular bed anyway - they're able to get up whenever they want. Just make a really big deal about how your daughter is becoming a big girl and now she's old enough for a big girl bed. It should be fine!

If that doesnt work put him in his carseat correctly (make sure the harness is on correctly) and try that a few nights and slowly get him back to his bed after a couple of days. Have you tried placing foam padding on either side of him so he cant role over (remember babies should be sleeping on their sides or upright to prevent SIDS-the inability to breathe on their tummies or the sufocation of spit up while they are on their backs)? How fairs the writing so far sounds like you overdosed on college Shakespearean courses. Couple of nibbles on NYC literary agents, both wanted first chapter plus one wanted synopsis. My personal belief is LA are better than small publishers because LA is the only route into the big publishing houses. With big houses one gets top notch marketing pros, top flight editors, and name recognition in the literary world. It's a tough nut to crack, however, it takes an insane amount of determination to land the right agent. Bottom line is fiction is a lot tougher to get published than non fiction. Unless you have racked up an impressive resume of having short stories published in university run lit mags the odds are way against you. Non fiction is easier to get published, still tough however, but big time publishers are looking for creative non fiction with a strong narrative. I've been published in big time periodicals but never published a book. Without sounding vain, I'm still hoping.

Just do the best you can and they'll send you back to shave again probably a few times within about 10 minutes the first day or two. You'll tear your face up, and once they see what the deal is, they'll lay off. You may get disciplined down the road but it won't be harsh at all. If you get razor bumps, you can probably get a shaving waiver.

Crazy MIL? This isn't really a vent..more of a whats your opinion..?

Ok. Lemme just start with I am 9mo. prego [babies coming next week via c-section] and my MIL is OBSESSED. Since she found out I was prego she has left hints about wanting to be 'mommy' again. She TOLD us she would be in the delivery room [yea right]. And called my son 'her baby' quite a few times etc. Has problems with personal [i.e. will hug and squeeze my tummy and DEMAND the baby move for her. And she gets upset cause the baby would never kick for her] but yesterday was a little bit much. She has been freaking out over the delivery [donno why...shes not the one who has to go though it and I'm ok with it] so she got sent to the hospital cause her blood pressure was through the roof. We went over to visit and when we walk in she seems drunk as hell. Come to find out they gave her some sort of relaxer... and Valium. So for 4HOURS she tells us she wants to steal our baby. That the baby is here to fill the void in her heart [she divorced and very bitter towards men]. That I stole her son. The the baby is HER baby.[She didn't just mention it- when my hubby said you mean Jess's baby- and she screamed NO! Its MY BABY. MINE!] No joke here people. She layed on me and started hugging my stomach and kissing all over it. [gross] AND then she made reference that SHE wanted to FEED him to! To 'bond' OH HELL NO. That is freaking nasty! And as far as feeding that's MY job. The woman has made it known MANY times shes is jealous and wants Nathan [baby]. But never so openly in front of me. She doesn't want me to know. But she tells my BIL who lives with her she was to steal Nathan but we would call the cops on her [hell yea - crazy woman..] And that's its not far and he should be her baby cause she doesn't have anyone. I can understand shes loves being a mo and wants someone to love. But isn't this a bit much. We already decided she never being left alone with him. And no one is allowed in to see the baby till after my recovery so me and hubby will already have him cause I'm kinda afraid once she picks him up she wont wanna give him back. I donno. This women drives me bloody mad and has since she found out I was pregnant. But I somehow manage... What would you all do/think of this? Anyone else with a crazy MIL?
