What is the difference between Diazepam, Generic of Valium, and Valium not generic?

Chemically there's no difference. There couldn't be, otherwise they couldn't call it Diazepam. Maybe the second answerer is right. The "name" brand has an added placebo effect for you. Personally, the difference in price is a much better placebo effect for me.
