Should I leave the Air Force DEP Program?

Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 1332.14, Enlisted Administrative Separations, and individual service recruiting regulations allow anyone in the DEP to request a separation from the Delayed Enlistment Program. With that being said I recently processed through a MEPS facility, signed my contract and such, having doubts the whole time I was at MEPS. Now I am currently in the DEP program for the air force and just want some outside input on this matter. I will feel like a jerk for wasting the recruiters time but in the end it will be better for me and the air force if an unmotivated person as myself did not ship to basic training. I already have a letter typed to send to my recruiters recruiting command. Any tips would help , thanks.
